I love a good story.

Before I could write, I was dictating tales to my mom at the kitchen table, illustrating entire worlds with Crayola markers. In elementary school, I won two Young Authors contests. In high school, I was a theater kid and a speech nerd — obsessed with timing, tone and the alchemy of a moment that lands.

Journalism school was my first big dream. I wanted to be the next Katie Couric. But somewhere between late-night edits at the Daily Nebraskan and managing a newsroom full of over-caffeinated twenty-somethings, I learned something important:

I didn’t just want to tell stories.
I wanted to shape them. Strategically. Thoughtfully. With intention.

That instinct … the editor’s pen, the strategist’s brain, the human heart behind both … is what built my marketing career.

I’ve spent more than a decade helping brands grow without losing their soul. From high-growth SaaS to small businesses, nonprofits, builders, creators and founder-led teams, I’ve worked across industries with one through line: People first, always.

Because marketing is more than motion. It’s more than content calendars and “let’s just post more.”

The best marketing is clarity. It’s alignment. It’s strategy that respects the humans on the other end. It’s a brand that actually means something, so every channel works harder, every message hits sharper and every effort compounds.

That’s what I help you build.

Whether you're a founder who needs clarity, a small team drowning in busywork or a bold brand ready to grow with integrity, I help you connect the dots, cut the noise and build a story that works.

Let’s get nerdy

I’m a bit of a nerd about what makes people tick — especially when it comes to CliftonStrengths. I love digging into what drives us, how we work best, and how we bring our strengths to the table. Mine? They shape what I do, from the way I build brands to the way I lead teams. Knowing your strengths isn’t just insightful; it’s a superpower.

  • I raise the bar for myself every day. I’m driven by results, and there’s no need to motivate with competition — I do that all by myself.

  • I’m a deep thinker, and I’m constantly curious. I plow through books, articles and podcasts. If we have a conversation, it will never just be about the weather.

  • I work smarter, not harder. This is good news for your marketing budgets. In management, I’m also known to bring out the very best in my team.

  • I’m a collector — not of things, but of ideas and information. My brain is basically an encyclopedia of fun facts, stories and strategies, all filed away for the perfect moment.

  • I see the bright side even in challenging situations, which in turn lifts team morale and creates a culture where every individual feels empowered to push boundaries and contribute their best.
